Description Really, there's always something that bugs me about the look of something you've drawn before and after you scan it - never looks as great as it did on paper...

Here's our inexplicable heroine (er, you serious?) sporting a pilot flight suit (officially called "normal suits") worn by the Earth Federation (as of...if i'm not mistaken, UC0079) of the Gundam Universal Century timeline.

Really, I just drew this because I needed a pilot for scale comparison (if you've noticed )

Very nice, awesome job with the cloth folds.
Good thing you realized female pilots have tight suits for a reason. XD

The lineart is rather...unrefined XD I reckon it lets down the tightness TT__TT I need to do another (or at least another full body drawing...or something...)
Thanks though, the folds are always a pain .___.

Just be glad you haven't had to deal with folds in pantsu yet...they are the hardest thing I have ever had to draw =3=

I completely understand how you feel about using a scanner!! It totally messes up the quality of the original drawing, how annoying. you always need 2 clean up the dirts (black spots:S) and rescale the pic

BTW u really are pretty good at details, what i mean is the lines are so clear and neat; the body's quite in proportion:> keep up with the good work!!

twtmaster In reply to silviring [2009-01-29 06:02:19 +0000 UTC]

heh, well i'm also convinced its natural skewing from the angle which I draw from, but yes, cleaning up an image is a pain as well @__@ not unless you draw very clean to begin with (and I will always marvel at people who are able to do this)

the lines? neat? eurgh, they're too jagged, I upped the contrast, and thats what I get...still need to work on anatomy as well as angles/perspectives >< otherwise i'm going to just keep drawing people like I do gundams thanks for the comment though

Hahha I see. practice makes perfect! Surely u're improving!!
By the way, do u know how the mature content filter works ? I am having it on but cannot turn it off, now the range of the artworks that I can view has narrowed Damn i need 2 complain!!

I can't say I know what you're talking about, and i'm not really sure about all those mature content filter settings >.< I just know that if your age is set to over 18, you can opt to view them or not. Maybe you lied about your age lol? dernoz, sorry i can't really help :S

Hehe thx for reply (well I shouldn't really do that on your comment page) But I realise u can still view those mature contents but then u need extra steps such as to click on the 'display it anyway' button!! Anyway, looking forward to your good stuff

Wow, I love how you drew the suit! I'm always afraid to draw them, it might ruin the picture and make them fat. Crap, I can't even draw suits that are detailed like that. All I can draw is the Earth Federation and Karaba uniform.
Great job on the helmet too!

well, i'm glad that you like it ^^ I mean, I still admit i've got a ways to go, and i guess this has to happen along the way lol ^^ Thanks man, I appreciate it

its called paralax, normally no human would draw with 90 degree angle (a good angle is around 45), but when you look at it from your monitor you'll look at it with 90 degree angle

twtmaster In reply to Rekkou [2009-01-28 12:10:00 +0000 UTC]

dear oh dear. i'm going to have to do something about that...thanks for the help

Rekkou In reply to twtmaster [2009-01-29 11:29:28 +0000 UTC]

To solve this problem you'll have to elevate the surface where you draw around 30-45 degree, that way there'll be 90 degree angle between you and the paper, and parallax won't occur (i'm not sure if i'm using the right english, please tell me if you're confused)

twtmaster In reply to Rekkou [2009-01-31 04:27:50 +0000 UTC]

yeah, that makes sense alright, it's just I don't have a tool/device that's like that. Probably the closest thing i've seen is a drawing plate, where its a slanted surface that you put on top of your table...although I think i'll just try to correct myself with that kinda of aid

Same with me, i'm only adjusting myself to it

Andou-Mahoro [2009-01-28 05:16:12 +0000 UTC]

oo 1. yes there is that problem with before and after scanning 2. This looks good regardless of that fact!!!

Got the same bugginess problem. For me, I got something called perspective error/skewing. It looks good on paper, after scan it, I found out that my drawings are "a bit" elongated. Solved it by changing the way I position myself when drawing. LoLs

*sigh* that's not good...lol, trust me, as much as I've been drawing for so long, I've always had this problem, and I never really bothered to fix it (because I was the only person who ever saw my drawings >___> )
