After putting out a couple really crappy fractals lately, I decided to go and revisit one of my earlier styles. This was a blast to make (almost two hours of tweaking) and I hope you like it as much as I do.

lush... almost looks as if it is animated and twinkling slightly. Blue is my favourite colour and i think this image looks quite realistic as if it were an organic refraction of light. Nice one,

trouble is, i have no idea how to use apo and i can't access the render to disk dialog (it appears offscreen and i can't move it onscreen to adjust the controls, start a render, etc.) either. ideally i'd like a kind of "high level overview" of what processes cause this effect... like which scripts you run etc.

i suppose i might be able to learn a bit from the parameters though would be appreciated if you could send that! the reason i ask is because the similar works in my gallery were created via some pretty special-purpose coding, and i'm interested to know how one works with it in apo... thanks

Anything that uses Noise or one of the Blurs will tend to give you a little bit of graininess, no matter what quality you use.
