my newest work in wood.its a fox but i think it looks more like a fat wolf or something..
my second try to carve an animal. we will have in my third and final year at the carving school the thematical focus at animal sculptures thats why i tried it.
its still not finish..

I like it because you made it your own. I've been sculpting animals for two years now and still
don't quite have the hang of it. It is nice to see someone else carving in wood for a change instead
of digital or clay (even though I like your nude quick clay form as well).

ich bemühe mich..
vorallem versuche ich jetzt auch mehr privat zu machen
so wie den kleinen räucherstäbchen halter auch wenn der jetzt nicht
so gut angekommen ist ^^.
aber ich würde gerne endlich mal einen auftrag haben um endlich mal
einen schritt weiter zu gehen und um auch eine bessere chance nach der
ausbildung zu haben ..

you have done a great job its actually very classiic americanna style and a good practice towrd realism smaller detail in the fur would bring that out remember hair and fur are very different i appearence thats what you are seeing to make it look like a wolf

i will take a look to your gallery.. maybe i will carve a green man too its a nice topic.
its not my atelier its a room in a carving school in austria and yes ive cleaned the place before because we have to do it at the end of the day or if you finish a work and start something new.

yeah i can remember it ^^ .. but im still not the best two peoplse from my class are much better .. but i think im a bit proud for the first time.
