We call them "seal" and there are loads of them around the harbour areas.
I got the biggest fright of my life one day snorkelling... when I came face to face with one under-water! I can tell you, I came up to the surface very fast! but I think they are cute looking and certainly the dogs of the ocean.

wow, that would be scary! They have such great yaws and pointy teeth. In anatomy I first mixed a sealions skull up with a leopards one. Quite the same size, but fish catching teeth. Before they always seem to me to not can hurt a fly ...

They mainly get kids in the show to pet the dolphins
