I don't like myself in this photo, I got bags under my eyes, I look really tired but I guess I did get up pretty early. The koala was a real cutie though, I didn't want to let go

Well I hope that you will be able to get to Vienna at least. Are you in Bratislava or further? It would take just a few hours by train or it would be cheaper to get a student agency bus perhaps. Plus you have euros there same as Austria so no changing currency at least

Yes I only just got back home a month ago. I was in Czech Republic in September, went to Bratislava Zoo as well for a day

I will get ther, I really want ot go to Toronto Zoo, Jungle Cat World and Marine World especially because I have never seen an orca in RL before

There are like 5 or 6 zoos within an hour driving distance where I'm at, which is pretty awesome. Marineland is about a 2.5 hour drive, 2 hours the way I drive though.

I can guarantee you that you would love to work at Jungle Cat World because of all the cubs and how you get to interact with them.

I don't know much about the law aspect. But I do know they accept lots of volunteers and they get all of the privileges too of playing with the animals, cubs at least.

Yeah see here, you can volunteer but you have no interaactions with animals whatsoever so you get no exp

That really sucks. But then again, at the bigger city-funded zoos here the volunteers don't get close to the animals either. This place is a small privately owned zoo. But I swear, the keepers and owners love their animals so much more and you can see that the animals are so much happier then the ones in bigger zoo.

It's nice going to privately owned zoos too. But I know they care for their animals at Melbourne Zoo too, they just don't hand rear if they don't have to. A majority of our animals are wild and kept that way
