Okay, this is a revisit on my last request pic from 's OC, Wildvine. Apparently, when I posted the pic, I soon saw not long after that my worst fears were realized and my approach to the color scheme wasn't the right one at all. So I chose to redress this by giving the pic a second once over, this time with a color scheme closer in theme to what he has, which basically boils down to lots and lots of green. QT, I hope you find this version more to your liking (even though this could have been easily corrected by simply giving me some colors to start with...guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt, guilt
).Of course, this isn't to say that I'm scrapping my first version of Wildvine. I'm going to be keeping it posted here for those who've faved it and those who might fave it still. Whichever version people prefer, they are more than happy to stick with. Either way, I hope both versions are well-liked.

Actually, no. But because he wanted green to be the predominant color (and didn't happen to mention it), I used Shego's color palette as a reference.

Thanks. Like I said, with the original, I was going with a different color scheme to kind of confound the usual stereotypical green color scheme of plant-based villains. This was because I didn't have a color scheme to work with. I certainly didn't know there WAS one.

Apologies, but when I look at this I don't see a new character...I see a costumed Shego. Have to say I liked the other version better.
Still, it's a well-drawn and colored pic, so it gets a

Glad you liked the other version better, but it turned out to not be the right color scheme, which is why I went out of my way to do a second version...which still turned out not to be quite right, but oh well...

You know, this version makes her look a lot like a freckled version of Shego.

Well, Shego was definitely more of an inspiration for this pic. While apparently, I still didn't get the color scheme right, this was the direction I ended up going in. Maybe this is an unfair generalization when it comes to plant-based characters, but I just couldn't get Poison Ivy from Batman: TAS out of my head, the way her skin went pale when she mutated in Season 4. And since Shego has more or less the same jazz going on with her skin tone, that's ultimately what I went with.

This version is good one. Both girls look pretty cool; guess the only difference is that this Wildvine has more 'plant' in her since she doesn't tan at all and her skin is actually abnormally pain.

Well, that's certainly the plan. I just want to focus my attention to other pursuits right now and see if I can get a few other things off my plate. Like I say, once we get to the end of the week, maybe I'll have a better idea of where I want to go with my fics or my pics.

Well, that's just the thing with me. I've been so crazy with pics lately (mostly because I'm able to produce them faster than my fics) that I haven't been doing a whole lot of writing. But I've got quite a few more fanfics I'd like to get off the ground, so I should really start focusing on those. Like I say, hopefully, by the end of this week, I'll have a definite idea of what direction I want to go in. Either work on a couple more pics or get cracking with my next fic.

I'm considering taking next month off-drawing and actually write a fic I'd been thinking for a while now.

Well, I'm hoping it won't take me a month to write my next Danny Phantom story. I mean, I'm counting on it being a two-parter (I have no illusions of it being a one-shot). But still, I'm hoping to plug away at it and get it completed it relatively short order. Maybe it'll help, having Fridays and Saturdays off again. For some reason, I always seemed to get more accomplished on those days.

Well, I also think it has a lot to do with the fact that even though I had Monday off, most of that day was never really mine since Monday is my weekly get-together with friends. Of course, even though I'm working Monday now, it still doesn't disrupt this at all, since I work night shift, so I'm still home in plenty of time.

Good to know; still, if you have night shift, you spend a good portion of the day sleeping.

Well, I try to avoid that if at all possible. Truth is, I really try to avoid not getting into a "night shift" sleep pattern. I do this because I know my mother was a paper carrier for many years, worked by a night shift schedule (1 a.m. to 7 a.m) and when she finally got out, it took her years to get back to sleeping at night again. I don't plan on taking years once it comes time for me to get out.

Well, I don't have that problem. Being night shift, my schedule remains relatively fixed. I'm pretty much the only one working there who has a regular, unwavering work schedule, week after week. That's one of the reasons I took the night shift in the first place (although the extra dollar an hour didn't hurt, either).

Well, anyway, I'm going to be starting work on one more pic in a couple of days here (it's going to be a KP pic of Shego vs. Max), then I'm going to start work on my next DP pic, "Laws of Attraction". Then, once that's story's done, it'll be on to more pics. While I'm working on "Laws of Attraction" I'm going to be talking with various friends of mine to see if they have any ideas on a sequence of DP pics I'll be working on over the course of my next series. It's a set of pics depicting DP girls (and possibly guys too, I haven't decided yet) in various anime cosplay. Some characters have already been decided upon, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to drop me a line.

Well, I'm not putting anybody behind the 8-ball just yet. I've got another pic do start work on soon. And while that won't take too long, writing "Laws of attraction" might, depending on how much time I find to write it. I have a basic idea in my head of how I want everything to go, but that's not to say that I won't hit an unforseen wall or two along the way. So that gives everyone plenty of time to brainstorm and come at me with any ideas they may have.

Well, if it helps, I can give you a list of what I've got mapped out in my head so far for cosplay candidates. This is where things stand right now...
- Desiree as Madam Shirley from One Piece (a brand new character who was just introduced in the latest chapter of the manga, who's almost identical to Desiree in terms of hairstyle and body type, not to mention that Shirley's a Shortfin Mako Shark Mermaid and you never see Desiree's legs anyway)
- Ember as Ino from Naruto (Naruto Shippuden form)
- Penelope Spectra as Temari from Naruto (pre-Shippuden form, so as to make her look extra slutty)
- Maddie as Android 18 from Dragonball (this isn't conformed yet, I may change my mind if a better idea comes along)
- Jazz as Orihime from Bleach
- Sam as ??? (I do have a couple of ideas for her, but nothing that's really hit the nail on the head yet)
- Valerie as armored Samus (you'd be able to see her face through the visor so you'd know it's here, but again, this is strictly another maybe)
- Paulina as ??? (I may have an idea for Paulina, but it depends on whether or not I add DP guys into the mix)
- Star as ???
- Dora Mattingly as ???
- Kitty as ???
(For the record, I may not even do Star, Dora or Kitty, but I'm throwing them out there in case someone comes up with something)
And then, like I say, I haven't decided if I'm going to throw the DP guys into this mix, but if I if someone comes up with some good ideas, I might consider it (I actually have a not-too shabby idea for Jack as Android 8 and Tucker as Master Chief). Anyway, those are going to be some of the pics I'll be doing when I start my next series after "Laws of Attraction". So if you have any ideas to assist me along those lines, it would certainly be appreciated. Any anime, manga or games are up for suggestion, just as long as the games are from Japan. So if you're bored and looking for something to do, that might be something to try and wrap your head around.

To be honest, I was thinking of Star and Paulina as Venus and Mars respectively. But then, I started leaning more towards Paulina as Nico Robin, with Dash as Franky. I'm still not 100% married to either idea yet, but it's a way to go if I can't think of something better.
