Description This is just a bit of fan art. The idea is what if the War of Light in DC's Blackest Night event took place in the Marvel universe? So the first one that came to mind is the Black Lantern Goblin Queen. For all you inkers out there, download for full size and just give me credit for the pencils. Plz note me or leave a link in a comment so I can see it after you finish. For all you colorists, I will be inking this one eventually, please be patient.

The Goblin Queen and all her daddy issues belong to Marvel. Sucks fer them.

The Black Lantern and Ring belong to DC, giving zombies god-like powers since 2009

And all her daddy issues ? xD

Wow, swell anatomy work. And all that pencil textures look really neat as they are! Did you try to increase the contrast with Photoshop? it would be a shame to maybe lose those lines.

I had to go back and touch it up as best I could with photoshop. I have gotten better at scanning them in two parts like that. I have to write down the setting on a piece of paper so I can set the contrast and all that exactly the same for the two pieces. Then it goes a lot faster getting them to look good in GIMP.

As for daddy issues, well she THOUGHT she was from like the New York suburbs but never knew her father which is why she joined the X-men; Proff X. Then when Jean Grey re-appeared and Cyke left her for Jean, she kinda went batty. Then she found out that Mister Sinister CREATED her as a clone to Jean Grey as part of his plan to kill Apocalypse. Then he proceeded to treat her as so much used garbage. That's when she REALLY went batty. Which is when she turned to a demon and became the Goblin Queen. By the time she became the Goblin Queen she was a poster child for abandonment issues.

Oh, I see, it's complicated. I didn't think of that since so far I hadn't put anything together (though the last comic pages I made would probably look better if they had th same contrast level.)

Speaking of sad stories Seems the writer just wanted a character to torture all the time.
