Oh god did I love this outfit! I am in love with how awesome it makes my ass and legs look XDDCompletely made from scratch by *Pink-Bunnie . She made all her own patterns for this one, and it was an interesting and looooong two weeks watching these come together and how insane she went >.> Made from only 2-way stretch PVC (hence all the funny wrinkling in places) I''m sure she'll have more details as to how exactly these were constructed, as I am not adept with the sewing machine at all (READ: IT HATES ME AND WANTS TO KILL ME) but I can tell you they were made in three seperate pieces. The black under shirt, tights with shoes attatched, and the outer suit. Eventually we wanna redo these using 4-way stretch, now that we can somewhat afford it. Much love to Reva for these, they are something I have wanted to do for quite a while. NGE has always had a little place in my nostalgic heart. <3 Though don't bother with any of the endings....as far as I'm concerned...they don't exsist XD

They were made with 2 way stretch pvc. It's a bit of a pain though. We would have loved to have used 4 way stretch as it would have sit way nicer and we wouldn't have gotten the bunching in some areas, but when these were made we had nowhere to get it. Lol

and that material is sewn together like normal fabric?

Yup! It'll go through a regular sewing machine just fine. There is a special foot for the machine that's specific for vinyl that you can get though to make it a little easier, and I believe we used tiny paper clamps instead of pins to keep the fabric together while sewing. Some vinyls too, it's recommended to use tissue inbetween the layers to stop it from sticking together when you turn in right side out again.Β

In any event, these are first rate plug suits, and you two make them look good. It's always great to see more Evangelion cosplay... really, more Evangelion anything. I'm a big fan as well. Good luck making the new costumes, I hope they turn out well.

Thank you so much! Alas the new ones have been put on hold mainly due to the fact that my Asuka has moved 6 hours north of me. XD Makes it a lot harder to get together to work on things. But I'd still love to do them, and I have my eye on the new Test Suits too. >.>

It definitely would, but its much more expensive and harder to find here. We originally wanted to use 4-way stretch (these are made out of 2-way which is why they wrinkle a lot) but we couldn't find any in time.
