It's not just the camera that likes these colors....

This field is planted with hard red winter wheat. The curved contours of the rows prevent erosion from snow melt and rains.

That’s actually winter wheat not grass, and now it is under about 6 inches of snow. I have several shots of that windmill. This is near the abandoned house and is on the Columbia Plateau about 25 miles east of here.
