It's a matter of the locomotive being longer than the train...Norfolk & Western #611 rolls west at Carpenters with just her water tank and the Strasburg caboose in tow making for a strange sight. She spent the afternoon doing 'In cab experiences' at Leaman Place going into her last weekend at the Strasburg Railroad. After Sunday she will make her way back home to Roanoke Va. October 1st 2021.
