If you notice, since they did the facelift on her for the #611 reunion, they already removed the step pilot and put the 'cowcatcher' style pilot back on. I figured they would dump the hooter whistle first, but they are still running with it....

Well, I never seen or heard someone do that, so I wouldn't know.
But yeah, a steamboat comes to mind when I hear the hooter whistle. And when they really lay back on the chord, I swear there's a vague elephant's trumpet sound going on, too. Perhaps they let 475's inner "Mastodon" comes out at those times? XD
