I am desperately wanting a picture of the Lancaster Bomber serial number PD 255...on the side of the plane is BQ T.
It was shot down on operations in Dusseldorf 2/11/1944, take off was at 16:16 but F.T.R.

If any readers here could help, it would be much appreciated.
Regards.

This reminds me so much of a picture my granddad used to have hanging on his wall. He was a RAF Sergeant, bomb loader and gun tech on these birds.

THAT is hot, really hot, so hot its melting my screen....ok its not but you get the idea!

Real photo? Painting? Photoshop? Cos it looks like you've painted some, then got a real Lancaster and photoshopped it in.

If its real, then damn, that must have been an awesome day. Love the sunset

Hi.
The original lancaster pic was against a blue sky, which was ok, but I wanted something a little more dramatic. I simply replaced the sky with another photo taken at a differnt time, then colour matched the plane to fit. Still was an awsome day,to see the last flying Lancaster was a real privilege.
