Edit: Scrapped MWAHAHAHAOh my this was hard and now it's done and now my hand hurts and now I'm not very fond of it, so be gentle ._.
This is Pit from Kid Icarus (yes, this is my 4th picture of him) but it's realism!-ish... Ref is here [link] and I'd find the ref for the wings but I lost it D: Oh, and the scanner killed all the pale lines, such as the lightest wings along the bottom (they were purple).
It took about three or so days of on and off drawing. Um yeah, don't ever expect anything like this again ;D ...Half-kidding...

When I saw this in my Deviation notices I kept thinking it was some pun about Billy the Kid (Famous Outlaw guy, I think....) and so yeah... I have a weird mind.

Do you draw without starting with the contours (outlines)? Because I love how there aren't any outlines. That's something I can never do in real life.

There are very faint outlines (the scanner killed them), but they are controlled and soft, and also match the lighting. This was originally a very light sketch but as I coloured the sections one by one I erased the pencil and replaced it appropriately.

Scanners butcher so many color pencil drawings. Nice choice in reference. I don't see any reason you shouldn't be fond of this. I don't see any technical issue with the drawing itself.
Every form fitting element of the clothing/accessories looks great. In partial, I love the bracelet that goes around his right bicep. The lighting on the bottom as well as the reflection of the bracelet on to the skin looks fantastic.
The folds in the clothing are convincing, especially around the belt. I like the touch of having the string for the bow disappear part way because of the lighting.
The proportions all look in order, and I absolutely love the way you did his hair. As always, I dig your realistic work. Fantastic job!

I'm not fond of this because Pit looks way better in anime, basically 
I had no references for the bracelets or belts or anything, so I had to think real hard about what they would look like 
And the string isn't meant to disappear. It gets lighter, but it's not meant to vanish D: Stupid scanner
Oh and the hair was a nightmare, lol. It's also too far forward, but I'll stop picking on myself now XD Thanks!

It's amazing. = D My favorite parts are actually the wings and his hand. I just like the position and the shading, and it's so realistic, too.
His face is really interesting, and the fact that I was expecting something entirely different just made it all the more spiffy!

You're very good at coloring with a colored pencil, especially when you use grays and blues.

I like how his wings kind of fade out towards the bottom. Reminds me how his wings are all small and puny at the start of the game, until you got the big wings...which I never got to use. There's other stuff that I like about this picture, but I just can't put my finger on for some reason.

Well his wings don't fade out. They just get thinner because there are less feathers, and because they are backlit, and the light saturates and illuminates the wings, they appear lighter towards the bottom and appear to fade out :3
