Mouse, Paint Shop Pro, about 5 hours.Cale and Oghenetega belong to *what-i-do-is-secret . Tega is blind. Okay so I don't normally draw other peoples' characters but when inspiration hits, it hits.
Cale was a bum to get looking the slightest bit normal. I hope he/she likes it ^_^

excellent... it seems both sad and peaceful..... to not sound cliche to the actual characters but it reminds me of narnia... holding Aslan as a war rages.... but... deeper than that....

Bum bum buuum. The colors in this are beautiful. I love the lion's mane, the shine is just brilliant and stunning. Cale's eyes are so beautiful, and soft and loving and aw and cute. The lighting is really nice, it is so cool how his shirt fades into the background. The flesh looks delicate and warm, too. I wants to touch his cheek~

It's almost hard to believe you're doing these with a mouse. The lighting on the lion's mane registers very realistically.

This is so tender...I love it! Your rendering of the lion is spot on! The lighting, the closeness of the two together, just every thing about this is so captivating... I had to fave it because it is so well executed. It's almost as if you did a portrait of a boy and his pet. Just went one step further, and showed much love between the two.
I'm always in awe of your work.

I love the glow on the mane, and speaking of the mane, it has such a soft and fluffy texture. It looks almost like I could touch it D=
