Description
I decided to experiment with the airbrush and here's what I came up withMother's Day is right around the corner, so hopefully everyone has something planned
(I didn't know what color Mrs. Sparkle's horn glows, so I based it off her eye color)

Mrs. Sparkle's horn would probably glow a deep purple, a la her cutie mark's color, however, basing it off of her eye color wasn't a bad idea.

Before Lesson Zero, horns glowed with the color of the unicorn/alicorn's eyes, but in Lesson Zero the color got changed to their Cutie Marks.

Okay, yeah. Maybe that was changed back after Season 2, because the CM color was being used for magic during that season.

As far as I know, she's the only exception to the rule.

Actually, what happens is that magic was changed from eye color to cutie mark color after Lesson Zero, yet non regulars either keep their old color or change it wildly. Trixie in Magic Duel, after she got tricked into giving up the Alicorn Amulet, had her magic being of the same color as her eyes. Rarity neve har it the same color as her eyes, but the same as her eye shadow and CM.

Yeah, but I mean that with the current pattern, Sunset Shimmer the only one whose aura fit her eyes instead of her CM. Well, the only one I can think of at least. It's strange since she was introduce way after the change, in Equestria Girls.

Well, according th what I know, it's the most predominant color in the CM the one used. That's why Shining's magic is pinkish instead of blue and why Celestia's is yellow instead of orange.

For future reference, magic glows seem to be based on the primary color of the cutie mark. Although at first I don't think they were really based on anything, as Celestia's glow would be different in different episodes of season 1 before finally settling on yellow.
Also, this is sweet. If only everyone could have a loving family, I think the world would be a much better place.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the coloring, but according to the MLP wiki, the glow is based on the hue of the eyes.
Could be wrong though

I thought the glow was based on a Unicorn's eyes. Besides Celestia, I've seen magic glow that are in accordance to eye color.
