I actually think it's "he". But maybe not. I rather dislike all that speculation, cause I think he should be left with his secrets... What do you think?

I think so too (that he should be left with his secrets, I mean), and I really like that so important a fact about one of the main characters stays secret till the end.

I personally think of him most often as genderless, an unique. He's not completely human, after all (aging, color and fevers, cool skin, strange wrists, etc). But sometimes it seems to me he's male.
But I'm certain he's not a woman, because in this case there wouldn't be such a big problem with Fitz later.

I wish Robin Hobb wrote some more about the Fool, maybe as secondary chracter. The Fitz's story is over (it looks like this to me, at least), but in Liveship Traders the Fool was without him...

Yeah, the fool is definitely unique, cause fitz after being in the fool's body said that the fool was very different. I do wish there were more stories about the fool-I only reread the Liveship books cause of amber))
By the way, do you like how the books end? I just thought it was kinda unrealistic... I mean, obviously fitz couldn't be with the fool, but Molly? They don't REALLY know each other... I thought he could have ended up with Kettriken...
The fool's my favorite character in all the books I've ever read! With robin hobb, Patience is my second-favorite.

Maybe we could continue in Russian? I see "Russia" in your profile. It would be faster and easier for me, I'm mostly reading in German now and it's hard to switch, I'm constantly forgetting the simplest English words.

In Liveship Traders I also loved Wintrow and was really interested in Kennit. Oh, and Malta, I loved her too and worried about her. Amber wasn't there much, I think. Because she couldn't do what she wanted to (find Wintrow in time), I always felt that her storyline lacks something. But her relationship with Paragon was really interesting.

It's strange to me too, but I like how the books end. I don't like Molly, and I don't see them together, but this ending gave me a feeling of a cozy tranquility which goes well with all the books which Fitz "writes".
If I'm not mistaken (I don't have the books with me) the last book ends with "I'm content", not "I'm happy" or smth, so he's not very happy with Molly, but comfortable with himself and his life. He wanted to be with her so much he should try to stop wanting and feeling miserable.
Oh, with Kettricken it would be interesting! But I don't see it, they just can't do it, it's not "right". Maybe if she didn't have a son, and there wasn't any other way to continue the Farseer line...

The Fool is my all-time-favorite character too. And yes, for me, Patience is my second-favorite in these books. I'm so glad that we agree here.

Мне кажется что Patience бы наверняка действительно посшибала бы это не правильным, а Fitz бы считал что как то обманывает Verity но ведь dutyful то на самом деле отчасти его сын... Хотя он мне кажется никому об этом не расскажет!
Мне тоже очень нравятся отношения Amber с paragon и по моему так клево что она его потом сделала с лицом фитца)
Я вот сейчас подругу уговорила прочитать, и она читает и так клево как она постепенно все больше и больше углубляется в книжку... Ей очень нравиться но она пока на середине первой только.
Мне molly не нравится по тому что она занимает место фула, и фитц идиот)
Там действительно I am content. Я люблю думать(зная что так не будет) что вот потом фитц и фул снова встретятся... А то очень печально...
