I hope I don't ruin it by saying so, but shouldn't the Mare in the Moon not be there? This only happened after she escaped.

Well logically sure, the moon should be back to normal. I just put the mare in the moon there to better describe the story. It's a comic cover mock up and I wanted to cram as much exposition as I could into one picture. The hope was that showing the mare in the moon would lead to a more threatening picture.

That's understandable. My only idea would be to get Nightmare Moon in her mist form and have it form a similar shape overlapping the moon. That seems to me like it'd be a more present threat, than one still imprisoned.

I guess that's true. Although anytime a moon has a face on it I think of it as a present threat, but that's a result of Majora's Mask more than anything.

That's a very good point. Ooh, creepy Majora's Mask moon face. I wonder, if this were the second comic, as this scene was in the second (technically) episode, maybe the first would have the Mare in the Moon still there, and this one empty but for the purple mist, signifying the difference. But that's me interfering again. Sorry about that.

Huh, from afar it looks a bit like Applejack and Rarity were trying to save Twilight from drowning. It's probably because of the bluish affect and the way it's positioned, but that's just the way I see it.

But other then that, it looks really awesome, and I like how it looks both realistic and cartoony at the same time.
