Personality: Nobuo is pretty peculiar. From a young age, Nobuo was taught to uphold the matriarch at all costs,
and reminded that the importance of the matriarch is significantly above that of male members in the Shirogane.
However, he took the wording a little too literally, and eventually formed a rather complex identity crisis around it.
In his eyes, regardless of any level of proficiency, he will always be disposable or expendable for the Matriarch's safety.
In his eyes, he truly is "nothing." However, this ideology doesn't particularly bring him down or bother him at all.
Rather, he has fully Accepted that he is nothing, and has become quite tolerant yet also apathetic of other beings.
In a way this is a strength as he is not easily riled up or emotional, as having feelings would make him "something."
He also doesn't have any overzealous ambitions or agendas, since he has nothing to gain if he cannot be something.
So he'll "simply exist, by not existing." (Performing secretive, anonymous shinobi work without detection.)
After all, if nothing is unable to achieve something, the least he can do is pave a way for a greater something.
Nobuo's cut is down the palm of his hand, a place he chose based purely on efficiency rather than aesthetic.
