Description So one of the things I do when I grapple is that I start off the begining of free sparring training by assuming the turle postion and giving the person my back. This allows me to practice choke defense and back escapes and my training partners get to practice getting hooks in as well as attempting submissions.
At this particular instance the guy in red has trapped my right arm with his leg in order to freely pass his hand under my chin for the choke. This particular technique has been getting popular as of late in MMA which is were I think he learned it. I sure as hell never told him about it.

back mount ha.

It can actually be a lot more terrifying than you will probably ever know.
It is the worst postion to be in. Which is why I willingly give my back to my practice partners so I can practice escaping.
When you can escape your oppents best position it can be somewhat demoralizing for them, so to a certain extent I am playing a head game with them as well.

"Back mount" just sounds dirty. Oy vey.

I'm glad to see you're wearing protective head gear, BTW. Cuz all these pictures look painful.
