Just a quick question, I'm currently studying commercial Graphic Design (to build up some additional skills) in Australia before heading over to San Francisco for the Academy of Arts studying 2 years in Illustration.

The question is - have you been a guest speaker at seminars in art/illustration/cartooning/animation schools in California? Cuz if you are scheduled for one or more (if any) this year I'm definitely comin' to them all!

I did speak at the Academy of Art in SF once, actually. I did an interview for their online program at the same time. Sherry Sinclair, the head of their Animation department is a good friend. I am planning on going to the CTN expo this year, so hopefully I'll see you there. Good luck to you!

Wow... I learn something new everyday. Thank you very much for that invaluable piece of information. I never knew about this event and I'll surely be adding this to my schedule of things to do when I'm studying at the Academy of Arts.

Great to know that you made some contributions, respect to the pros who take their time out to help others in the business, that's very humbling of you Tom.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to this years CTN, however are you attending San Diego Comic Con this year? I'm actually on a business trip (and pleasure) to check out the AAU, register, inspect the apartments that I'm planning to rent out for the next two years, opening a bank account and catching up with friends.

So if you happen to be there I'll seriously consider getting those books of yours that I got from Amazon to have it signed! *thumbs up*

Sorry, I don't think I'm going to do SDCC this year. I have the tickets, but am going to CA twice (for CTN and a family trip) so its just too much travel cash this year. I wish. Have fun without me.

Not at all, don't be sorry. Quality time with family and budgeting sensibly is quite a rarity these days so I wish you a safe and excellent trip to both occasions in California.

Most all of the stuff for sell is in the $40-$60 range. If I still have this one, it would be $60 because its so big. I think I remember selling this at last years Heroes con, now that I think of it. If I find it this weekend, I'll let you know though.
