Description
This is a "in production" inked illustration for a children's book I'm working on right now. I'm not supposed to post stuff that hasn't come out yet (much less that the client hasn't seen yet) but I've been lax in posting stuff because I've had so much work that I thought I'd post SOMETHING. This image still shows my blue pencil underdrawing that I use to rough out the sketch before I ink. Normally, in Photoshop, I drop out the light blue linework (selecting blue in channels) but I thought I'd leave it so you can see how rough my underdrawing can be. I'm doing 12 black and white illos for this book and still have about 7 to go! Its black and white interiors, so that saves me some time, at least.
