Inspired after the feature of the wonderful , and since I really don't know who else to do, here I painted the lovely gorgeous Karen Gillan. I've never done a celeb/photo/portrait thingy before, and I've also been wanting to brush up on my Digi painting skills.... I think she herself turned out okay, the background bothers me. I tried lots of things including gradients, but they all looked kind of flat and it still does. looking at the thumbnail the picture looks like a sort of Italian flag...Crits and comments would be well received! I used this [link] as my reference picture. It started to deviate once I had the face down, and there are a bunch of things I'm not too happy with, but as I said, it's practice!
