Description So I went to my friend's Disney-themed cosplay birthday party picnic thing last weekend, and it was a lot of fun. Flynn's not finished yet, but I wore it anyway. I intend to get a new wig for AX and such, make some tweaks here and there, etc etc.

But I'm excited about this cosplay, so here. Have a preview. Thing. Yeah.

How did you do the buckles?

They're hand-made from a heavy gauge wire and then painted and sealed, since I couldn't find any buckles that matched his already made.

U did an awesome job on yours and your repunzels costume. I am aspiring to make my own repunzle and I was wondering if u had any tips?

You did a wonderful job!

I was wondering how expensive it was for you to make this costume. I've been wanting to make a Flynn costume for about six months, but I haven't had money to spare for it until now. Would you mind telling me about how much you paid for all of the fabric? Also, how much were the boots to make/buy? Did you buy the belts or make them? I am REALLY sorry to ask so many questions about this, but I'm really hoping to have it done before Halloween.

Thanks for you time!

Thanks!

It actually wasn't too expensive. The most expensive single item was the boots, which I bought last minute to have in time because the boots I was trying to make were not working out. I bought them on ebay, they are just some pirate costume boots. With halloween stores around, you shouldn't have too hard a time finding them in a store somewhere. The fabric is just white denim that I bought on sale and dyed with a mixture of RIT's navy and forest green dyes. The pants and belts I found at a Salvation Army store near my house. I made the pouch with some remnant pleather I found at the fabric store. The clasps on the vest are bits of wire I shaped and spray painted. Overall, not including the boots, I think I couldn't have spent more than, say, 30 bucks on all the materials. The boots cost me about 25 with shipping. Oh, and the wig is from [link]
