Well this was unexpected haha. I read a book yesterday about pen and ink drawing, and it really inspired me, so I wanted to try a quick little sketch scene to try my hand at some real pen shading! [for the first time XD ] And then I got a bit... carried away... and suddenly a finished drawing appeared!!!.. after a few hours haha. But hey I like the result! And it was a ton of fun honestly haha. Shading like this is a pretty big challenge, but I'm glad I tried it out!
This was done in my little Baron Fig sketchbook entirely with Copic Multiliners [the cheap ones haha] [with pencils first of course lol] I also did some touchups in digital to fix a few mistakes I made and some warping from the cheap paper. I think I spent all afternoon today on it so like... 7-9 hours? More? I dunno
I lost track of the time heheAh and this is just a random adorable little scene of two tribal servals chasing each other and playing in grasslands
[adults, both male ] I like to think my anthros are more open about playing and play fighting like the animal versions are, unlike stuck up humans XD [goes back to me making my anthros a bit more animal now adays ] Let me know what you think! Critiques and comments appreciated! This is new territory for me, both the ink shading and traditional drawing in general haha, and I'm sure there are plenty of things I could do better on

a pretty clean work for a beginner I can see the deatil and ability though the theme its a little overused it s a nice change of pace considering the nature of your past works.
The vision its quite nice and easy to read and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing. THe technique is quite adequate for somebdy who just began using ink as I heard its quite hard to use that style of drawing the grasslands are quite deatiled but the faces of the serval are a little different from the usual. also there seems to be some lines that don´t fit in.

I do like a big lot how you made all that grass but the characters' legs are still clearly visible. Also nice how you made their fur details

Yep they both have different clothing preferences I guess XD Even if there isn't much to chose from and these are 2 of the most common styles

Just personal preference for both of them lol. Some prefer to wear less, and some like more ^^ But the two types here are both two of the most common clothing types that thier people would wear
