Hello, i'm curious if you remember what kind of Fabric you used for white part of the Ghirahim costume. I'm planning on helping a friend with making this costume and have never done anything like it before.

Hello there. I used a stretchy sports fabric. I should tell you, when creating the diamond holes in the tights and elsewhere, cut a cross shape (+) into the fabric sized to the length and width you want the final shape to be. Then fold and sew the resulting flaps over a piece of interfacing that's the same diamond shape and size as the hole in the fabric. You can best see what I did here:Β timmcosplay.deviantart.com/artβ¦
Good luck!Β

Photoshop. Or to be more precise, Google Image search.

No. No I do not. I would not have been able to accomplish this cosplay if I did XD

Yes! A significant amount of work indeed. Ay, 'tis my craft. The one I am most proud of.
Thank you. I appreciate it!

Oh wow, thanks! And you're welcome. XD
Yes, I think it's kinda cute, lol.
I used Castin' Craft Clear Casting Epoxy [link] . I got it at a plastics store called Industrial Plastics, but that's only in Canada. I saw it at an art store, too, but it was more expensive. Look for some plastic stores around and see if you can find any that have it. To make moulds, I used EasyMold Putty, by the same company as the epoxy. Be warned, though, as it can get pretty darn expensive.

And you're welcome Tim! XD
Dude, I am SO happy to see someone else did this meme. Seriously. So happy.
I didn't realize just how much work you put into this cosplay, so seeing this process is mind-blowing, thank you for sharing!
Also, which face paint did you use the first time? I have some that I have used that has proved pretty tacky, plus it's only ~$10, so that might be a good alternative?

You probably won't know about what it is, but here's a hint: It's from the game Half-Life 2 (and its episodes).
That is true. I just looked at the Snazaroo colour chart and it looks like light gray will actually match. I already did use white eyeliner for the lips, lol. But thank you for the tip. And would that art store happen to start with O? I actually went looking for it once and couldn't find it. XD I don't know downtown very well.

I hope it turns out great~ Will probably be wearing it at a summer convention next year.
Oh, yes, that looks like it will work. And it looks pretty smooth, too. What did you use to apply it? A sponge?
Hmmm. I don't think I know that one. Do you think you could message me about it? Thanks~

Ooooh exciting! Best of luck with it!
I used a makeup brush! They go for about $10, but you could probably get a cheap one at the dollar store.
Yeah sure, one PM, coming right up!
