I just wanted to create something.
I fully intended to open this photo up and do something manipulative and colorful to the sky, but I just couldn't. I liked the sky so much I cropped out a lot of the ground in favor of it. The sky is untouched, except for cloning out a few spots I always have to deal with due to particles inside my lens optics.

You know what I find great about this photo? It looks like the grass actually loses color when it comes in 'contact' with the sky! Totally awesome!

I never noticed that but you're right! Ever since I took the pic I've been concentrating on the way the tips of those weeds all point right, which is east. Rather like the pines on the higher mountains here that have only branches on that side.
