now i that look at this again, i don't know why it never occur to me before of how much this piece reminds me of that xmas special i did called Stardust that played on Teletoon. Makes me think a lot of Sila and her dog Pooka.

Wow! I like how you used a lot of blue and purple tones, along with white and green colors to show the background and the Northern Lights. I also like the lower part of the backgournd with the igloo-like buildings- the big space of the night sky with lights, and the big lake near small trees are a nice touch. The designs of the girl and the dog are cool, too; she reminds me of Katara from Avatar:TLA, and the dog kinda looks like Falkor from The NeverEnding Story

The sky is gorgeous and I love the way it contrasts with the snow. It's hard to pick a favorite part of this piece, though I do especially like the fur on the girl's clothing for some reason. The texture is very nice.

I'm thinking I should start a collection called "Everything in Thundercake's Gallery Ever".
Really, though, this is gorgeous. The colour pallets of everything you do always, always, ALWAYS just blow me away. The textures to everything, as well, are very distinctive and very "you". Everything you post is just a joy to look at.
