Description A commission for a Star Wars - The old Republic player.

Took me long enough to get this done, i hardly had any motivation to do any renders during the first few month of this year. Hope this changes now.

Done in DAZ Studio 4.10, rendered in Iray, postwork with Adobe Photoshop CC and NIK Collection.Β

You really put a lot of work into all the details and the stuff really looks good. Since you asked I give my 2 cents without a formal critique, even though I do not really find fault with the picture.

You might have been a bit bolder with the light focus, but I see that it can be difficult with her skin.

There are some nice ways for the eye to move around, but I think a bit of lack of a primary spot or object.
The character (who probably is it, given the title) does not stand out well against the brighter colored and highlighting toys (especially the pyramid is pretty dominant). Since they seem to have no obvious role apart from being easter eggs or composition tools (no childs around etc), I think they're a tiny bit to much. But I would not remove them or change them much, rather work on the character.

She does smile at the viewer, which is good to drawing attention, but maybe she ought to do something more intriguing or capturing (maybe some light or glowing holo before her from her pad or other interacting), maybe a change in attire could do it, too.

Thank you for your critique

I have to admit, I really struggled with this commission.
I had a hard time coming up with any idea with the given wishes the commissioner had and i never felt really at ease with anything i tried to set up the picture.
It most obviously shows ^^

After having it sitting on my harddrive for month i just decided to get done with it, even though it's far from my best work, because i hesitated to do any other pictures until the commission is done.
In hindsight i would have arranged the toys different to zoom the framing in more and display the charakter larger, and your right about the pyramid.
I thought all the time about changing it to fit more in to the scene, but in the end i just wanted to get it done and move onΒ Β
Not the best way to work on a picture, especially a commission, but sometimes it's just better to end something instead of working on it endlessly.
