Our nearly complete firefly group from Närcon. I was a complete blast! Not that many people recognized us, but the ones that did were incredibly excited about it, and in genereral walking around singing, quoting generally messing about was just great ^^Series: Firefly

What a good picture. All of the costumes are very good and atmospheric - I don't know the show or the characters, but to an outsider it seems totally cool!
And wait, Jørgen... are you from Scandinavia? I had no idea! And we've been conversing in English for ages! So tell me, where are you from? I'm from Denmark myself

Haha, yes, I as well as all the others are from Norway. Actually, I'm even 1/4 danish ^^ I snooped around in your profile so I've known you we're danish from the beginning. But I'm just as comfortable conversing in english, especially regarding fandoms and such, since the lingo doesn't translate all that well ^^
You should really watch the show. It's absolutely amazing in every way, and it's only 12 episodes and a film, so it's quite easy to find the time. Really, I've never met anyone who've actually seen it who didn't love it ^^

Recently moved to a "hybel"-complex and don't have a lot of space to work with... But I seriously want to either make a N7 Armour from Mass Effect, or the Snowtrooper armour from Star Wars ^^'

It's more that I have no idea where to start... I think the room I live in is fairly decently sized, got my bed, desk, large recliner chair and my own bathroom xD

A gal I just befriended also said that she would help me out if I needed it, she's a member of the 501st legion, and made her own Storm Trooper outfit from scratch! So I think I'll have good help whenever I start

Very well done! Firefly and Serenity will always be one of my favorites. You guys put work into it and it shows. It looks like it could be straight from a poster or promo for Firefly.

Would be awesome, except we all live in Norway, so might be a little bit difficult concerning travel ^^
I'm not sure blackface cosplay is a good idea though, I'd way rather just have a white Shepherd. I've seen white Zoe's around, and they look pretty cool ^^

Wait, isn't Norway the country where Santa Claus/Sinterclass always hangs out with 6 to 8 white guys in black face that are openly described as his slave? It's the Dutch, right? I'm certain it's one of the countries in Scandinavia, though. I'm not completely ignorant (just 99%)
As for getting all the way to Europe, It shouldn't be a problem, as I'm currently building a wormhole in my garage with the ghosts of Nikola Tesla and H P Lovecratt
On second thought, though, I think I'd make a better Zoe. If I'm gonna Cosplay, I might as well do it in drag
