I really like this one. The water looks pretty amazing, and the composition is pretty good. It's very eye catching. The only complaint is the over exposed look of everything. LOTS of white... it's rather distracting actually. Other than that, this is a fairly awesome pic.

The color does worlds of improvement to the original lineart (which was already quite cool to begin with if you ask me.)

Hmmm lets see over all its a pretty good picture but I have a few things I'd like to point out.... Something about his hand seems wonky... his furthest finger seems out of place to me. He also seems to be sitting a little too high out of water.. I swam a lot and no one sits that high out of water unless they can stand.
While I'm certain this was on purpose the white seems too harsh of a contrast to me.
While the colors are on model as best I can tell, the coloring itself is not the best I've seen. Obvious color over marks are all over sonic, it looks you got bored coloring and stopped trying to keep from over or under bleeding on him... even on the walls and the slide.
That line art is fairly good... but the coloring in my opinion needs work.
This is just my opinion though.

Oh lord, I despised that level with a passion...Not only is Sonic completely frightened by the fact that there is an enemy coming towards him, it's also the fact that he is in water...It almost makes you wonder which one he is more afraid of, heh, heh...

Hmm I think you need to do something with those outlines in the background; with some filled in and some not it looks kind of unfinished. Although I get what you were going for with the white on everything.
I dunno, it's a really great effort but it doesn't quite work for me.

Ah, I like the minimalist colouring style, it really makes Sonic and the foreground stick out [by having nothing intentionally draw your eye to the background].
Sonic's expression was also well done. Can't say I liked this level, though [mainly the rush through Act 3 IIRC]!

Oh, nice! You know I like it when Sonic's in a tight spot! But he'll get away easily, right? He's just gonna sink to the bottom once he stops thrashing around.
It's an interesting look with all the white in there, but I'd also like to see the same composition with less restriction on the colors.

Ohh, yeah. XD I was thinking you could remove the coloring digitally and still keep the outlines, I didn't realize the outlines were in color.
