oh, did you download the game on Steam? I haven't gotten the chance to play it yet, since it seems the only controller that might work with it costs 5 times more than the game itself (Sigh) what controller do you use for PC gaming?
I do agree with you about S3&K.. I only had Sonic and Knuckles when I was a kid, but the cutscenes really did have a special quality to them when they lead you into the new stage. And lets not forget the first cutscene in Mushroom Hill, where Knuckles raises hell! I guess that's another reason why I feel that Triple Trouble is almost Sonic-3-the-8-bit-version... because of the cutscenes. xD
How awesome would it be if the Generations crew did a remake of S3&K? Identical game and physics (just port it), but with Generations style graphics. Oh man, if that ever happened, I think I would burst into tears of joy!
Anyway, epic work as always. This one leaped out at me from my messages! I love the flowing movement as usual, and the way you draw Sonic, and the composition is spot-on! Only thing that kinda bothers me, is that I had to read your comments to know what stage it was meant to be based on. It doesn't look like the Flying Batter blimp at all... mainly due to the different colours. It's your choice how close to the original you want to make it, but I think the picture would have a bigger impact if it more more resemblance to the thing it is based on, if that makes more sense.

yes, in fact it was thanks to you, coz I went to steam on the same day I read your journal and downloaded it, lol.
And I gotta tell ya, the game is short ,really short, but it's worth the price and it's fun while it lasts, I find the music in it to have a pretty 80's-early-90's feel to it, it brought some nostalgia like always.
I could not use the controller I have since it's a pretty generic one, I used the keyboard instead since it's a 2d game and it doesn't require an analog stick.
And sure, Sonic and Knuckles and triple trouble are prolly the reasons why I was so much into sonic (and sadly, still am...lol)
I kinda knew people wouldn't understand what the hell was sonic holding on to so I decided to use the stage's name to give them a little help, lol, I'll try making it look more accurate to the original, I kinda did this pic on a rush cause I just needed to do a pic of sonic holding on to something.
But hey... at least it does look like something that can fly... right?

Oh, what's your name on Steam? I'll add you on there (so I can stop looking like someone who has no friends, lol) Did you see that Sega all-stars Racing is on Steam as well? I haven't played it yet, so no idea if it is any good. (Probably won't work with my controller as well)
bleh, I hate using a keyboard to play a game, unless its designed to be used with a keyboard.
Oh man, I played Sonic and Knuckles again (I think your pic inspired me) and was reminded again of how epic it was. How awesome would it be if they did a HD remake of the game? I think that would be amazing (especially if they got the Generations team to do it)
