Reminds me of "Another World", an old video game, not just because it is a pixel art, of course but even the use of colours are very similar to it. Great work.

Thank you very much, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it. I played tons of amazing good old DOS games when I was a kid and I still miss those days when games were really good and rare.
I played Another World quite a lot back then. I can't compare my works with the quality of those games but I am definitely inspired by them.
Here's another pixel work I have done that I believe you might find interesting: [link]
I think that work too has influences of games like Flashback and Another World.

To be reduzed to pixel size and still creating such simple, yet beautiful art... Wonderful!

I used Photoshop.
Ok, here what you should do: Go to Edit > Preferences > General. And at the top of the preferences window find "Image Interpolation". Click to the roll out box next to it and select "Nearest Neighbor (pereserve hard edges)". And you are done.
Another tip: You should always zoom in by multipyling the resolution by even numbers to preserve the identical pixel size.

That rock kicks all kinds of ass.
Crit: The outlines of the monster could be a little blended with a mid-toned pixel, but it looks perfectly fine without it.
