Description Woot! My first digital drawing ever! Hah, I know it isn't great, the anatomy is ridiculous, the neck is huge etc. etc. but I am still happy how this turned out, regardless all of the bad things! I have to say that I haven't experienced this type of a flow before while drawing, it was quite ridiculous how fast time passed while I drew this. I'm starting to see why people like digital drawing...
Made with an iPad in about, uh, 2 hours-ish?

Hehe it's so cute! Great job! Next time, use that smudge tool on the body- I know it's a lot of work but everything else in the picture has a texture to it; it would be nice to see what you can come up with for the body as well. Just a thought! Still, I think it's a great job for an Ipad in so short a time!

I was indeed wondering how could I bring more texture to the body and I think you have the answer for my question I'll definitely try that out, thanks for the tip

Thanks shading was quite fun to do, not as tedious as it is with graphite pencils, since the software I'm using has a great "smudge" tool which makes shading a lot easier and faster

Yeah, the smudge tool is a blessing - especially when you can just undo mistakes! XD digital art is my new best friend because of this haha

Being able to undo is probably the greatest thing ever, it just saves so much time and allows you to experiment so much more. Also layers are very awesome, makes drawing so much simpler and cleaner when you can make the rough sketch on a different layer and start drawing on top of it on another layer

Yes, layers are a wonderful creation as well! And I love the eyedrop tool where you can pick a colour on the drawing and use it so they match - amazing!
