" Down south, in the dark wetlands live the acid dragons. This dragon type usually measures up to 200 - 300 kilos in weight and 4 - 6 meters in height when standing up on two feet and 1-2 meters when on all fours. Larger ones have been rumored to exist, but this information has come from, questionable sources. Unlike most dragon types that are known to exist, as previously mentioned, this one can stand on two feet, drastically increasing its height. They usually use this as a way to intimidate assailants. Though they rarely stand up for anything more than intimidation purposes. Reports indicate that they are able to balance well enough to engage in combat with mercenaries whilst standing up. Though much more intimidating when standing up, they aren't able to move as fast as they can on four feet, so generally an acid dragon standing up is actually less of a threat. But in most cases, if a mercenary would see a acid dragon stand up on two feet, he/she should make a quick leave from the vicinity of the dragon as silently as possible to avoid further agitation. Though this trick is very dangerous, one could try to shoot the dragons belly with an arrow when it stands up, since if the arrow would hit a favorable spot in the belly it could penetrate the skin and hit a vital organ.

Like other dragons acid dragons are named after their special ability, and theirs is the ability to spit/vomit acid. This type of dragon can not use its ability for too long though, since it creates this acid from glucose, proteins and an unknown compound that is yet to be identified. Because it needs glucose and proteins to create the acid it has to feed after few bursts of acid, but mercenaries should not try to wait out for the acid to run out if they intend to capture/kill one, since they are able to store large quantities of these compounds in their organs. And if they do run out of acid they tend to go into a flight or fight mode where, depending on how injured they are, they will retreat or attack very aggressively.

The acid itself doesn't have any effect on the dragon itself, even though it is extremely corrosive. Tests have shown that the acid will NOT corrode or flat out melt glass, obsidian or gear that has been covered with an acid dragons hide. Some scientists have asked the question :"why not try equipment coated with glass?". We tried it, but it turns out glass coated weapons / armor isn't such a great idea when going to battle in wet and damp areas, since the glass coating got a bit slippery and the mercs ended up slipping and falling over in the swamps and their weapons slipped out of their hands several times. The equipment did resist the acid very well though, but the dragon did short work of our clumsy mercs with its claws, so glass coated equipment is a no go. The dragon is capable of either vomiting the acid (short range and wide spread) or spitting it giving it a longer reach. the spit has been reported to be able to fly as far as 100 meters, one merc found this out the bad way when he decided to try and agitate a acid dragon so it would drop down from a treetop.

The acid dragons don't have any kind of scales whatsoever on their body, instead their body is covered in a thick layer of rubbery skin. long/light weapons are a bad choice when going out against a acid dragon since they are the most likely ones to bounce off of its skin. Much like most other dragons, obsidian weapons are the best ones to use against acid dragons, due to their weight and immense sharpness, if crafted correctly.

Acid dragons are quite difficult to track down, since they do not have nests nor lairs and their territories are quite large, rough estimates say, around 100 kilometers. This large territory is due to the fact that the acid dragons are very agile and fast fliers, and they use this agility to compensate for their lack of protective scales, resorting into hit and run tactics to tire their victims. Due to this a mercenary just has to be lucky, or unlucky to see an acid dragon in the wild.

Mercenaries that intend to travel to the wetlands should know that the wetlands are constantly covered in heavy fog and rain. Due to the darkness that reigns in the wetlands, the acid dragons have developed natural night vision. The only light source mercenaries will find there are the golden, glowing flies that the locals have dubbed, "lanternflies". These lanternflies leech off of the dead trees and generate light in the process. Lanternflies are of no harm to aspiring mercenaries and they do not seem to have any forms of harming humans, but they are a splendid source of protein. They have been reported to taste, like sh..[written over], quite "unsavory". You do not want to create loud noises around lanternflies though, since they are easily scared by them. Once they are scared they drop off from the trees into the murky water below, halting to emit light in the process. If this happens you will be standing in a dark swamp with no light sources for awhile until the lanternflies are confident enough to climb back up into the trees."

Since it was pretty fun to do a description for my last drawing I decided to do the same for this one as well , well see how long this writing enthusiasm will last though
