EDIT: Remake portrait on this take of mario!A 3D-version of my apparently very popular Super Plumber Mario ! Did him for the 8-Bit Challenge over at Gameartisans.org!

I don't know why, but for some reason, this reminds me of Dungeon Defenders.
But, that aside, this is awesome!

Well, I used Maya for the Base Mesh, then zBrush for the Sculpt and Topogun for the retopo. But I figure any program (3DSMax, Mudbox etc) would give you the same result, just as long as you know your way around them

I would sure love to play a Mario game like this. Imagine the world that is dark, damp and filled with slime. He better be a tough Mo-Fo to deal with chemical warfare and mutations.
