Oh, no real universe or fandom in particular, this is my friend's "fursona" its basically like a personal animal mascot that represents that person ^^ though they are anthropomorphic so I suppose in all technicality you could say they're from the furry fandom c:

yeah, it gets a pretty bad rep in the media most of the time but really being in the fandom just means you have an interest in anthropomorphic creatures, which are just animals with human traits/features/behaviors. for a prime example, mickey mouse, he fits the bill to a T cause he's a walking talking bipedal mouse man! XD

I'm glad ya get what I mean! ^^
and really you could go with anything! whatever animal you like most or connect with most!
me personally, I've had an undying love for red foxes since I was very little so the choice was easy XD though, I did do something a bit different, I made up my own odd monster/chimera species based on red foxes ^^ so theres always the option of creating your own if you can't exactly think of a species that suits you/that you like.

I have always liked red pandas! They are just so adorable and quirky! I can't stop looking up their cute video! Maybe I will try and create my own spirit animal of sorts! They are just do cute!!
