This work are probably be took me forever, the work are done mostly since last year's january, but I just cant get it right, so I've been refining the whole time, and never been posted publicly. Then I decided I have to move on.I learn quite a lot lighting techniques from this, and the combine effort between Painter and Photoshop. And the silly thing is, I cant get the boat a clean line, so I ended up using Flash to draw me a shape for masking.

Everything is awesome except I noticed one thing which is looking very strange. The knee is pointing towards the camera yet the foot is facing in? It looks weird to me? It looks like you have tried to draw it facing to the left of the image but the calf makes it look impossible. Everything else on the other hand is great!

No probs, yeah its the lighting, because in your wip at step 6 you had the knee perfect, dunno why you changed it.

Because I feel the shading are too hard, and I over paint to make it smoother, I still prefer current one though.

the whole scene`s awesome! including the signature in the corner! It all goes together perfectly!

I love how you did the girl and the boat! Great perspective and she looks very cute and beautiful, the way you shaded her skin is amazing. *u*
The only thing I kind of dislike is the blue background, it's too blurry and the tone is too bright, so it kind of takes away attention from the main part - the girl. But other than that - the drawing is wonderful! :3

Thanks! Well it's true, the background does look bright, I was trying to make a contrast between the character and background, supposed her skin tone originally are much more orange and vivid, but then i choose to tone down to look more natural like this. I'll improve my coloring next time, thanks for the point out. =]
