This piece has such a lovely soft feel to it. I could easily see it as a cover for a restaurant menu or a poster. Very nice. simple layout that works perfectly together with the added text too. The cropping works as well and I’m happy you didn’t go with the regular two utensils on both sides of the dish, but added something different and interesting (the napkin) The simple background really draws the attention to the objects and especially to the colorful soup that’s obviously the centerpiece of this image. I really like your soft usage of brushes and the even color palette that looks warm and inviting.

While I do enjoy the hazy, dream-like, soft appearance of this image, I think in some parts it could use more refinement. For instance the spoon stands out nicely with those dark contrasted shadows and highlights and I think the soup bowl could use more of that – perhaps a crisp white highlight on the edge of the bowl would do the trick, or darker shadow below it. Just something to really bring it up from the background.  I little less blurr here and there would also help refine the piece.

However in general this is a lovely piece and a pleasure to look at.
