Description
Shunsui Kyoraku is the captain of the 8th division of the Gotei 13. He is one of the oldest captains in the gotei 13, having been trained personally by Yamamoto in the early days of the Shinou Academy. Statistically speaking, Kyoraku is the 3rd strongest captain in the gotei 13, after Yama and Retsu Unohana. A testament to his strength is the fact that he was able to defeat the Primera Espada, Coyote Starrk, with only his shikai.

Kyoraku's zanpakuto is Katen Kyokotsu. It is one the only two dual zanpakuto known to exist.

Kyoraku is my favorite character in Bleach.
