Description Here's the title pic for my upcoming GMD story, I've decided to call it "Dangerous Liaisons" (I may change the title later but tell me what you guys think). Been working on this pic since early this afternoon and I'm very proud how this turn out (this is going to look so bad-ass once I color it! ).

So here we have our hero Basil, Dawson the deuteragonist, Relda as the leading lady, the main villain Ratigan, and Doran as the secondary antagonist.

Story info: Basil is like a cold and calculating machine that’s incapable of feelings of love; but he made a dangerous liaison to one woman who could stir such a feeling. While in pursuit of Ratigan’s lieutenant, she reappears in his life and becomes a pawn in a sinister scheme. Set after the first film. Crime/Romance/Mystery. Basil/OFC.

Here's the original version! I am so slow, curses to real life! I love traditional artwork just as much as digital, perhaps even more. There's something about the different shades of the pencil that makes it so appealing. I still love the colored one, but I adore this just the same! Oh, one minor thing I just now noticed: Basil's single coat button is on the wrong side.

Don't worry I am too. I can see why you like this one a little better than the colored version, because of the values: I'm a lot more confident with drawing in pencil, than in Illustrator but I'm still learning.

I had to look up and see what you were talking about! The best part about pencil is being able to erase. But did you know that animators use pencils without erasers? I couldn't handle that too well!

Yeeeeeah, sorry about that. It's just a thing about the difference in a man and woman's clothing during that era. In those days men dressed themselves and women, since their clothes were more elaborate, had servants help them. Since they were usually right-handed, clothiers figured it was easier to switch the side of the button for the right-handed dresser.

You're so welcome! Yeah, I think so! When you go to submit your fic, there's a little icon that looks like a pencil to the right. If you click on that, there should be something that says "Change preview image," and if you click on that, you just upload it like normal and that should do it!
