Ugh ugh ugh, this was just supposed to be a doodle how did it turn into this ugh.There are so many issues about this that bother me with anatomy and positioning and composition and lines and everything and if I look at it any longer trying to finish it, I will explode. It is done. I wanted Nev/Sy fluff. Now here some is. 'Nuff said.
Sy got a new look. Been agonizing over how he should look for ages and now I can finally draw him again.
Gotta stop turning doodles into finished pieces :I

Amazing.
I've got to say, I think this is my favorite Nev yet. She is such a dynamic character, always seeming to be in motion even when she's standing still. But here, I can't decide whether she's tensed and ready to spring up, or slumped over and relaxing for the first time ever. It's confusing the hell out of me in the best way possible. Love it.

Hmmm... With the pants, coat, gloves, and boots all being varying shades of black and gray and even the green highlights are more muted, it looks a lot less like a superhero costume which I would wager is a closer fit for the tone you're going for.
Also, it's still amazing how Nev, a silent killing machine with a gas-mask painted to look like a skull and the only patches of color on her being a tattered scarf and glowing red eyes, can fit so well in touching moments like these. I mean, talk about great use of body language and what is essentially a red circle.

His gloves and boots aren't neon anymore as well...
I think he looks more human for some reason...
In other news, I kinda hate the new DA system with those arrows that take you through someone's gallery ('cause I keep accidentally clicking them when I'm trying to post a comment....)
