that is the new version of swoop from tf4. he is called strafe. i guess that they aren't basing the dino modes on specific dinosaur species, or they are making changes to fit Michael Bay's style. they are also adding horns to grimlock, the new spinosaurus character (Scorn) is having 2 sails instead of 1, and slug the triceratops now has a stegosaurus tail. But i think that they all look great.

Not that i know. He is just a feathery raptor. Although we can't base our guess on the toys that we saw at toyfair 2014, since scorn only had 1 sail on his toy, and he has 2 in the movie.

You think that Strafe taking Swoop's place would have anything to do with the fact that Grimlock created Strafe in the G1 cartoon?

probably not. although the movie continuity is inspired by alot of other universes, i doubt that something like that would take place in AOE

i really like jolt's design but i can't say anything about his personality since he didn't talk in ROTF. but i just know i'm gonna love strafe and scorn from AOE

oh yeah. im so glad that its going to be alot more like dotm. each character was somewhat explained. the least explained one was topspin and he was still boss. bay just went from one extreme to the other in the first 2 movies. from 5 autobots to like 12. he had alot more balance in dotm with only 9 main bots (not counting Sentinel).

yeah, I agree. I like Bay he's an amazing actor but he needs to focus more on story and character development
