Thief *ruined* stealth games for Me...
First person made everything way more challenging, and now all the others, even the ones I used to like, just don't compare. I can't wait for Dishonered. I Know it's out now, but I can't afford it, & I have other things I need to buy.

I actualy don't know many stealth games so it's hard for me to compare them but as for me first 2 Thief series were good but the 3rd one was kinda ruined =/ except of good graphics of course.

I liked how they replaced Garrett's broadsword with a dagger {which I never bothered using}. Having the combat option taken away forced you to be careful, as even hit & run attacks against an alert guard could get you killed.

I agree those changes were all great ideas. I just didn't like technical part of the game like too many loading areas, characters laggy movements and tiny mission areas but I understand it was a cost of great graphics and dynamic lightening.
