Thanks dear.
Yes, I think it has a beautiful balance to it. And that is Jen, a beautiful balance between love and sadness. SHe is one of the most beautiful people I know.

I'm a firm believer in simple elegance. Less is usually more.

Thanks mister.
If you get a chance, look back the comments left, I posted a little bit about how I felt with the image.
The model is Jenny, who has become an extremely close friend of mine and is absolutely wonderful. I will be shooting more with her whenever I can.

Oh, there are so many things to love about this photograph, Terry.
The model, for one. She's so lovely, such delicate features and lovely bones.
The pose, for another. Folded up with her head resting on her knee like that is so emotive... and the fingers parallel to her toes... very nice.
The lighting. Stunning highlights on her right side and her crossed over arm.
The soft focus. Makes the image tug at one's heart.
The composition. She's center, but her placement along the floorboards and door make her seem to just be waiting around the corner... waiting for someone to notice her.
When you post an image like this, it makes me ache... Just lovely.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment, I wish Icould get more like that.
The way you looked through the image is exactly right on all points.
The corner was left in for loneliness. The fingers were placed for feelings. The soft focus style is for frailty, the crossed and folded position for protection and the placement of her head on her knee for hope. If her head was hung lower or no eyes showing then all would be lost.
