Aerin, Gareth, and Galadel went to Itria, with heavy hearts and a sense of unease. The destruction of Friblord still fresh in their minds. The group made their way through the forest, each lost in their own thoughts. Aerin couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that weighed heavily on her. She couldn't help but think that if she had left Friblord sooner, the village would still stand, and the innocent people would still be alive.

Gareth guided his horse beside her, his eyes fixed on the ground. He had explained to her that Eira had gone back to Arben with the other survivors, but Aerin could tell that he was still struggling with the loss of his home and the trauma of the attack. Galadel, meanwhile, was stoic, but Aerin could sense the sadness emanating from him.

As they rode, she admired the beauty of the surrounding forest. The trees were tall and majestic, and the sunlight filtering through the leaves created a magical, otherworldly atmosphere. But even the beauty of the forest couldn't lift Aerin's spirits, as the weight of her guilt was too heavy to bear.

As they approached Itria, the girl couldn't help but be awestruck by the fortress. The dark stone walls and spires reaching towards the sky were a sight to behold, and the small stone bridge that led to the gates only added to the grandeur of the place. The fortress was nestled in the middle of the forest, and a lake surrounded it, making it look like a secluded island. Aerin could see guards stationed on the walls, watching the area.

The group approached the entrance, and Aerin couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. Itria was a symbol of safety and home for the elven and fae people, and Aerin knew that she would be welcomed with open arms.

The girl took one last look at the forest, feeling a sense of sadness that they had left Friblord behind. But as they crossed the bridge and entered through the gates, she knew they were safe, and even though the tragedy that had befallen Gareth's village weighed heavily on them all, they would have to find a way to move forward.
