I got Professor Layton and the Lost Future for Christmas and started playing it recently. This time I decided not to cheat by reseting the game everytime after a wrong answer or use of hint coins.
lol I fail!
I actually did unlock two questions up to super hint and I still didn't get one of them after that! *cough* But that was because I misread the instructions and submitted my answer wrong
Still only half way through the game. lol I wonder if I'll have enough coins.

I feel your pain. I tried to not cheat on the games but by the time I went to the fourth game, I completely threw my morals out of the window because I wanted to see how much I could get right and have no consequences. It didn't accomplish much as I thought I would. I thought this was hilarious because this is funny and true, practically the story of my life.

Hahaha! Ya. Me too. But i'm suprised people don't cheat on the games that much. Either they are liars, they lose a ton of picarets and don't care, they have done the puzzles before, or the are just super clever and want to tell people about it so they can watch regular people will struggle for perfection.

That happens. I usually get the most difficult puzzles by unlocking the 2ΒΊ hint.
When I can't, I cheat and look in Nintendo Guides

I didn't know I could cheat on the internet till i got the first or second game. The only one I manged to do with out the internet was the third game.

1st time: yeah i can do this -insert happy face here- 10th time: whaaa!? that was so right layton!! 30th time: it's a 4! not a 3! XD. 40th time: HINT COINS COME TO MEH! (use the force!) 50th time: Whhhy?? why world!??? T.T 80th time: i give up... (submits last answer.. ''a gentleman leaves no puzzle unsolved..'') after all these years! (layton: you mad bro?)

I solved the last puzzle in PL diabolical box where you have to blow into the mic by accidently sneezing. PUZZLE SOLVED.XD
