I like the varying colours and patterns displayed here. Shows a bit of diversity along a basic body plan. Although are all Toridians as slim as this? Is it due to their enviorment that they've had to adapt this body shape for more agile and flexable movement? I'm also curious of the display flaps; how are they used in communciation exactly? I hope you don't mind all the questions.

They're semi-aquatic, i imagine their primitive societies being natural fishers, standing motionless in the lakes and ocean surf and stalking aquatic organisms like a heron might. Very good swimmers, and can hold their breath about 5-8 minutes, but their horns are actually hollowed out and lined with a membrane that can close the holes at the ends that act as snorkels. Their big feet are good for swimming and they're very streamlined. THey can be more muscular though, just like humans come in a variety of builds.
The display flaps are more vestigial from their evolutionary ancestors, but they still react involuntarily. They wear clothes though, so they don't really use them nowadays. They were for threat displays and intimidation. Their ears still react emotionally though. It's very typical to wear tank tops as an underlayer though, because the colorful flaps are unique to every individual and highly hereditary, so they are things that they do like to show when they can, kind of like how when women dress up, they tend to wear dresses that show off their necks and shoulders because they're generally attractive features.
I dont mind at all, I love to blabber about my alien babies hahaha

^_^ Well, if only I could achieve your level of prowess...that'd be a real success.
The cintiq tablet made a huge difference. I enjoyed the wacom bamboo but felt like I wasn't going anywhere and switched back to paper and pencil. Upon getting a hand me down cintiq set up...wow...big difference.

Its the 21 UX, so its HUUUGGEEE. We used my college money to afford it, even with it being used. It'd be $1999 new. We bought it for $400.

I count my blessings every day, man. So eternally grateful. Trying to think of a way to hand down my bamboo fun to another aspiring artist who can't afford a tablet, to pay-it-forward, or so they say.
