::: This is my submission for SciFi Contest! :::This is the virtual sucessor to my other older mech deviation AWARE --> [link]
Mech model modeled in Wings3D. UV unwrapped in Lightwave 9.2. UV's textured using Photoshop. Background enviroment made in Vue 6 XStream. Background and model were merged using the Xstream plugin for Lightwave and rendered in Lightwave 9.2.
The model itself was based on the Battletech Catapult mech. --> [link] I just made it the way I wanted it to look.
Check my gallery for more renders of the mech. I'll also be posting a technical readout on the mech in the near future.

Great looking picture. Love the Mech. I remember a game called Battle Tech from some 30 years ago and even have some of the Ral Partha models for the game.

Too contrasty, showcase the mech more, youve got bad tangents with the mountains, give him some support and I wanna see battle damage everywhere! We should really just collab man, I'll PS the hell outta it! Smoke, explosions, tracer bullets woohoo!

Cool. I was wanting to do a new render for this. What would you want to do. I'll have to go to my DVDs and find the model. I do not have it on my computer at this time. Maybe we should do something from scratch in the future. Something we can both work on 50/50 from the beginning? It could be a bit because I have multiple models to make for work. Plus I am doing a large freelance job and I still have to texture that armored vehicle I just posted! haha!

know, it really sucks when I see other planets and then have them look just like earth... but this one looks completely different. I wonder if that's an area of cold or hot climate...
