Nightcrawler from X-Men.Commission for ~Loralthea
I know absolutely nothing about X-Men at all!
She wanted comic book style Nightcrawler, so I gave it a go!
Copic markers and Copic fineliner on lovely smooth 9" x 12" Bristol Board (400 Series)

Colour work is exceptional, but what I like about this piece is that it has a tatoo look to it. The backround colours blend well - great work !!

Yes I agree,they are expensive. The 72 set cost me around £125 but I would love to own more. Set A has a wide variety of all colours, so I would suggest a set like that if you are starting out.

And the background I kinda had the idea to do the X-Men logo in the moon, it just seemed to sort of fit right!
