Nikki Farquahson inspiredThis is one of my interpretations, in the style of Farquahson...
Firstly I took an image and cut out a specific piece which would be the focus, and the rest would flow around and into the image and you wouldnt know the diference...
SO HERES THE FINAL PIECE
To create this piece i used an image and used feltips as a base, most of the image is created using feltips.#
And for the very very intricate patterns (and some patterns just to make more 'prettier') I used gel pens, both neon, basic, glitter and metalic colours...
The patterens are very stincil like and quite bold, clear and precise. sooo enough about the image...

It was! it was nice do something other than basically 'copying'in the lesson
Took me a while, to get ideas together but I completed the full piece eventually!
I actually did a 'textured' piece, but I never got it back from my art teacher :/
It took soo long, like i cut yellow and red straws and then used hole punched paper to create the scale effect, took a while but it was fun and the end product was pretty cool.

I know, it was a good piece. Only downside was it took me AGES, to finish it, took a couple of weeks. I think maybe one day, I might have another go at it, when I have more time.
